Our first SOLO image of 2008 is from Davin Youngs, a Chicago-based photographer who works comfortably with portraiture, landscape, and concept.

His website, These are My Pictures, has some edited galleries as well as a few conceptual series – notably his on-going Placement of Self self-portrait work.

Davin is member of Fjord and is also the artist featured in The Present Group’s Winter 2008 issue.

I should also compliment Davin’s parents on their excellent taste in baby names.
